Biarritz Airport Access

The Biarritz Airport is located in the town of Anglet, 5.5 kilometres (3.5 miles) southwest of the city of Biarritz.

The official name of the airport is Aéroport Biarritz - Anglet - Bayonne, and the unofficial name: Aéroport de Parme.

By car:
Follow signs for 'Aéroport - Aireportua' or 'Aéroport de Parme'.
- from central Biarritz: Drive D260 road (known as 'Boulevard du B.A.B.'). Here are two examples of road signs.
- from central Bayonne: Exit D810 road ('Avenue d'Espagne') at junction 'Bordeaux/Pau/Hasparren' and drive the D932 road. Here is one example of a road sign.
- from central Anglet: Drive D910 road ('Avenue de Biarritz')

If you aren’t sure what way to go when leaving the airport, there is a map at the first road junction. There is also a French speed limit sign.

By bus:
Bus company STAB (Local Service) for Bayonne, Anglet or Biarritz
A single adult fare for anywhere is €1.20. During the week line 6 (1 bus an hour) and line 11 (1 bus an hour) and on Sundays line C (1 bus an hour) have service all year round. A trip to central Biarritz takes 25 minutes (20 minutes to central Bayonne).
Only in summer, line 'Navette des Plages' - Beach Shuttle (2 buses an hour during the week, 1 bus an hour on Sundays) connects the airport to the Biarritz and Anglet beaches and to central Biarritz. Bus stop is just outside the arrival hall.

Bus company ATCRB (Regional Service) for Bidart, Saint-Jean-de-Luz or Hendaye (on the border with Spain)
A single adult fare is between €1 and €5, depending on how far you go.
(NB: official Biarritz airport website says: €2.34 to Saint-Jean-de-Luz and €4.34 to Hendaye)
Line 26 (1 bus an hour) has service every day. Stop is close to the terminal.

Taxis:
They operate 24 hours a day (taxi rank outside the terminal Look for the sign when exiting).
Fare to central Biarritz: approximately €12
Fare to central Bayonne: approximately €15
